| History | Ravenstone Press was founded in the summer of 1997 to
publish children's books focused on or set in Kansas and the Great
Plains.
It debuted with Johnny Kaw - The Pioneer
Spirit of Kansas,
the first retelling of Johnny's Kansas tall tale for children, that
September. For nine years, Ravenstone Press operated in Manhattan, Kansas. In 2006, the business was relocated to Sun City Center, Florida in the greater Tampa bay area. Ravenstone is a small independent publisher building a
gradual list of no more than one or two paperbound originals per
year.

| Submissions Policy |
Ravenstone Press is not able to consider
publishing new authors and does not accept submissions due to the small
size of its
list and projects already in progess. Ravenstone Press does not accept submissions for
"vanity" publishing or payment for publishing manuscripts for
authors. Please do not send unsolicited manuscripts. Authors seeking publishers and those writing for
