| The Konza Prairie Nature Walk in June | ||
| The Konza Prairie is near Manhattan, Kansas in the Flint Hills. Throughout the summer there is a series of beautiful wildflowers. The Kansas skies are endlessly changing. If you're lucky, you may see wildlife like the deer below, bison (buffalo), and wild turkeys. The nature trail has loops of varying lengths and is open to visitors. The Konza Prairie research area is closed to the public except for a special visitors' day in the fall every two years. Be sure to visit The Konza Prairie website. | |
